Calspan Development and Construction designed and renovated the 32,500 square foot facility located next to Calspan’s Headquarters in Buffalo, NY. The new sled testing facility houses two premier sleds, a 1.0MN and 3.1MN, to serve multiple customers at one time.
The new facility expands the capabilities for the Sled Testing team to support increasing market demands and create a secure enviornment. Calspan purchased and renovated a warehouse space located adjacent to the existing headquarter facility.
The facility features the two Servo Sleds, 1.0MN and 3.1MN, dedicated customer lounges, dedicated customer work areas, onsite high-tech ATD lab and Pendulum rooms for critical dummy calibration and certification.
